Special interest group:
Video Game Studies
OverviewThe Video Game Studies Special Interest Group (SIG) provides a dedicated and interdisciplinary forum for scholars with interests in the study of video games and other forms of interactive media, their wider impact and aspects associated with their development, production and consumption.
We welcome video game scholars in any career stages, either affiliated or unaffiliated with an institution, and based in the UK or beyond, aiming to establish a diverse and inclusive international network and a virtual space for members to collaborate and share achievements, news and opportunities. Additionally, the SIG serves the membership as a platform to organise events and co-ordinate activities, including annual calls for contributions to pre-constituted panels. Reports on activities |
